It’s not a secret that I’m a huge cat lover. I grew up with cats and I’m never get enough of their love in my life. I’ve visited several cat cafes when I travel.
But I never expected to meet so many of these furry animals in Bansko – a small mountain resort in southwestern Bulgaria. It is the most popular ski resort in the country.
I don’t do winter sports so I didn’t care to see that side of Bansko. Instead, I went there in the middle of October with the hope to learn what else is there to see besides the ski slopes.
And even though I will share more about what to see and do in Bansko in the next weeks (stay tuned on Facebook), one of the things I liked the most were the many cats… everywhere.
And I couldn’t help it but create this cute little video for the occasion:

Do you like cats as much as I do?
Would that make you visit a city?
P.S. Stray cats are a “normal” view in Bulgaria. I know of one cat shelter, located in Plovdiv – iCat Rescue. Another one where they take care of cats, is Animal Rescue Sofia. That’s where I took my current cat from :3. If you want to help those shelters, feel free to check their website for more info.
