The Coffee and Malaga<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\nLet me tell you a secret\u2026 if you are a coffee lover, Malaga is the best place in Spain for you. There are 9 different ways to order a coffee in the city<\/strong> \u2013 nine ways! Depending on how much coffee and how much milk you want in the cup, you have 9 options to tell your waiter what you want.<\/p>\nThis was the first curious fact of the day followed by many more surprises throughout the whole food tour.<\/p>\n

Coffee in Malaga usually goes with churros or pitufo<\/em><\/strong> – toasted bread with tomato sauce and olive oil.<\/p>\nAfter breakfast,<\/strong> we went for a stroll in the central Atarazanas market where we tasted different types of olives, ham and cheese. We also tasted the famous Malaga sweet wine in the oldest bar in the city where locals still go before lunch.<\/p>\nIt\u2019s time for lunch<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\nI call it a good experience when you don\u2019t go back home hungry. And with Devour food tour it was sure that we\u2019ll have lots to eat for lunch.<\/p>\n
We visited a local family restaurant – Meson Mariano<\/em><\/strong>, where we had different traditional meals such as fried <\/em>anchovies<\/em>, <\/em>pork meatballs in almond sauce<\/em>, l<\/em>eche frita<\/em><\/strong> for dessert and other delicious bites.
