Unfortunately, it is almost always full of other travellers who want to see the glory of this historic bridge that crosses the Vltava river. This street has a beautiful view\u00a0of the <strong>iconic Prague architecture<\/strong> and is worth your while. Manesuv most<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;\">When you exit the Prague Castle head back to Vltava river but this time through Manesuv most. You will get a great <strong>view to the more famous Charle&#8217;s Birdge<\/strong> but it&#8217;s also a way to get to the less touristy part where you can have a nice Czech lunch before exploring the rest of the city.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Lunch<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;\"><strong>Sedm kon\u0161el\u016f<\/strong> &#8211; a great value for money restaurant in the Old Town but still away from the crowds. It&#8217;s hidden in a small street but it&#8217;s worth to go there and have some traditional Czech meals. Nothing fancy, but a good place for a lunch. We had the traditional\u00a0<em>Beef goulash with\u00a0dumplings<\/em>, a <em>Risotto with mushrooms<\/em> and a <em>Honey cake<\/em> for dessert. You will probably be surrounded by hundreds of other tourists but just enjoy your time there. Its narrow cobbled streets with iconic architecture and traditional shops and crafts will impress you. Make sure to take lots of photos&#8230;\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">EVENING:\u00a0Weird Monuments Hunt<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;\">Before I went to Prague I knew that the city is full of weird and controversial monuments from <strong>the famous Czech architect David Cerny<\/strong>. That&#8217;s why I put those\u00a0sculptures on my itinerary and I&#8217;m definitely not disappointed with that decision. The\u00a0bronze strip between them shows the\u00a0estimated numbers of those impacted by\u00a0the regime.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;\"><strong>Creepy Crawling Babies<\/strong> (<em>Kampa Park<\/em>) &#8211; 3 giant babies without faces will creep you out in Kampa park. They&#8217;re supposed to represent\u00a0the communist era,\u00a0unable to reach adulthood. What a creative genius Cerny is&#8230;\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;\"><strong>Pissing Men<\/strong> <em>(Ciheln\u00e1 2b)<\/em> &#8211; an unexpected (and again controversial) fountain of two pissing over the Czech Republic men. Locals told me that in the past people were able to send SMS with a word and the men would\u00a0write the message into the water. Crazy, huh?<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;\"><strong>The Hanging Man<\/strong> (<em>Husova street, near the top on Betlemske namesti&#8217;s side<\/em>) &#8211; Cerny tried to recreate Sigmund Freud and his constant battle and fear of death. If you don&#8217;t specifically look for the statue, you won&#8217;t see it.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;\"><strong>The Giant Metal Head<\/strong> (<em><span class=\"street-address\">Spalena 2121\/22,\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"extended-address\">Quadrio Shopping Center<\/span><\/em>) &#8211; called &#8216;Metalmorphosis&#8217; this is a constantly rotating metal head. Some say it&#8217;s a Cerny&#8217;s self-portrait, other sources say it&#8217;s\u00a0Franz Kafka &#8211; another Chezh artist. If you are more informed, let me know what&#8217;s the meaning of this statue.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;\"><strong>Upside Down Horse<\/strong> (<em>Lucerna Palace<\/em>) &#8211; a statue of former king and then saint\u00a0Wenceslas riding a dead horse\u00a0and possibly a mocking nod to the current Czech president.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;\">Other weird monuments you can see in Prague:\u00a0the Embryo, Futura Gallery (Sm\u00edchov district), Franz Kafka Statue (next to the Spanish Synagogue); UnUtero.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/d\/embed?mid=zDNtRlgAuIXk.kHakThVciffo\" width=\"750\" height=\"300\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;\"><strong>WHERE TO STAY IN PRAGUE<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;\">I am a big fan of Airbnb and the freedom it support.
