Besides that you also need to know how to get the best out of your trip. So here are my top <strong>10 tips for an amazing trip to Paris:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0033;\">#1. Get a Paris metro map<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">As much as I love walking and I think it is the best way to experience a city, the metro in Paris will save you a lot of time and effort. That\u2019s because most of the affordable hotels in Paris are far from the main attractions and you will have to move a lot in order to see everything from your bucket list. Get a carnet for the metro<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Carnet is a package of 10 tickets you can use in the Paris metro. Buying them will save you some money as their price is 13,70\u20ac and the regular price of the single ticket is 1,70\u20ac<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #ff0033;\"><strong>#2. Plan ahead &#8211; get a city map<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Getting familiar with the city is going to help you a lot when you arrive. Before I visited Paris I already knew my way around. That way I didn\u2019t waste time to wonder where to go next, what\u2019s the building on the left and if I will have enough time to go to the next sight. So get your <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/d\/viewer?msa=0&amp;mid=zvzrNFYApqSE.klmLnh2Sit5M\">Paris city map<\/a> and spend some time checking where things are.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Planning ahead also includes thinking of how to get from your arriving airport in Paris to the city center. There are many convenient ways, i.e. getting a taxi or booking a trip with a <a href=\"http:\/\/lebusdirect.com\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">shuttle bus company in Paris<\/a>. Just make sure to check in advance so you are prepared according to your budget and time.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #ff0033;\"><strong>#3. Free things to do<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">If you are travelling to Paris on a budget you can save a lot of money on some of the most iconic places. Knowledge is power, and in our case this is completely true.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Most of the attractions in Paris are free for all such as the Sacre Coeur, Notre Dame or Luxembourg Gardens. Also, nobody can stop you from having a nice picnic in front of the Eiffel Tower which is one in a lifetime experience as well. There are also many free walking tours in Paris you can join and save money.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Other than that, many of the iconic sighs in Paris offer free submissions to its visitors. Here is a list of some of them:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><strong>Free for under 26 EU citizens<\/strong>: Mus\u00e9e du Louvre, Centre Pompidou, Mus\u00e9e d&#8217;Orsay, Mus\u00e9e de l&#8217;Orangerie, Panth\u00e9on, Arc De Triomphe and other National museums.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><strong>Free only on the first Sunday of each month:<\/strong> The Louvre, Mus\u00e9e Rodin, Mus\u00e9e Picasso, Mus\u00e9e d&#8217;Orsay and others.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><strong>The Louvre:<\/strong> also free for all under-26s, from any country in the world, on Friday evening from 6pm to 9.45 pm.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><strong>Arc de Triomphe:<\/strong> free on the 1st Sunday of the month between 1 November and 31 March. Buy food from local supermarkets and make sandwiches<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">If you have limited days in Paris one of the best ways to maximize your time is to eat on foot. Buy products from local markets the day before and make some sandwiches you can eat while waiting on the queue for entering the Notre Dame, for example. This will save you a lot of time for sightseeing.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #ff0033;\"><strong>#5. See Paris from Seine<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">To enjoy a different perspective of Paris, you can enjoy the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cruiseontheseine.com\/dinner-cruises-on-the-seine-river-in-paris\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Seine River Dinner Cruise<\/a> and see the city from the water.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #ff0033;\"><strong>#6. At the Louvre <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">The Louvre is a must see when you are in Paris not only because of the famous Mona Lisa portrait but also because of the thousands of other significant pieces of art. To make your visit even more enjoyable you should be ready.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">First, skip the entrance line and save yourself an hour of waiting by entering from some of the \u201csecret\u201d entrances such as Porte de Lions or the Mall entrance. Second, get a map of the Louvre and plan your visit ahead.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #ff0033;\"><strong>#8. At the Eiffel Tower<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Don\u2019t make the rooky mistake of waiting at the 3-hour long line for the Eiffel Tower. Avoid the disappointment by simply checking out what\u2019s working and when. Get to know your neighborhood<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">When you are in Paris you won\u2019t spend all of your time sightseeing and taking pictures.
