At the beginning of this year, I underwent surgery in which my sinuses and frontal sinuses were expanded using a spherical technique. Since the procedure, I have flown twice without any issues.

Before the surgery, imaging revealed structural changes and a narrowing in my forehead area, which had been causing intense pain due to pressure fluctuations during flights. Thankfully, after the operation, flying has been completely problem-free.

I hope this information helps someone else as well.

my pain was so debilitating it was difficult to speak. i was finally wheeled out of the airport via stretcher & taken to hospital. my bp had skyrocketed. it’s terrifying. now i always use decongestant nasal spray before takeoff and landing.
